Comat has a high level of implication in the SuperCam project, by being present from the phases of conception to optimise the design having regards to the large constraints of the spacial fabrication. During nearly 4 years, the Toulouse PME has conceived more than 2000 mecanical parts for the 5 prototypes and the flight model. The Comat engineers have then integrated the instrument in clean room with the IRAP and CNES teams. They have brought their skills to the assembly and the tests until the delivery at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory of the NASA in the USA.
